Hartlepool woman Mary Millmoor has just returned from Malta – thanks to her hospital workmates who raised more than £2,000 to fund the trip.

"My eyesight is canny," said Mary. "It feels so good to be able to see properly again because that was a big thing for me – I didn't want to lose my eyesight.
